Add a shape or a colour from where you set it

هذا المحتوى غير متوفر بلغتك بعد.

You moved a blend shape slider, or changed a colour or a number of a material, and the avatar now looks the way a toggle should make it look. AvatarDoc can take that value from where you set it: the value you set becomes the toggle's On value, or a radial's highest. You can also add it to a toggle or radial you already have.

To pick the shape or the property inside AvatarDoc instead, see Change a colour or glow and Add a slider.

  • The mesh is part of an avatar in the scene.
  • The avatar has an AvatarDoc component. If it has none, the window offers to add one.
  1. In the Hierarchy, select the mesh, such as Face or Body.

  2. In the inspector, set the blend shape slider or the material property to the look you want.

  3. Open the window from where you set the value:

    • For a blend shape, right-click its slider and choose AvatarDoc > Add "Smile"..., with the name of your shape.
    • For a material property, press the three dots at the right end of the material's header under the mesh, and choose Add to AvatarDoc.... Then pick the property in the window. This works for Poiyomi and every other shader. A right click on the property itself shows no AvatarDoc item.
    • Or use the mesh's component menu: press the three dots at the right end of the Skinned Mesh Renderer or Mesh Renderer header, choose Add to AvatarDoc..., then pick the shape, or the material and the property, in the window.

You should now see the Add to AvatarDoc window, with the value you set in Now.

  4. Choose New toggle, New radial or Add to.

  5. For a new toggle or radial, check its Name and pick its Submenu. For Add to, pick the toggle or radial in Entry.

  6. Check the values. On value holds the value you set. Off value holds 0 for a blend shape, or the shader's own default for a property. Change them if you like.

  7. Leave Put the value back to Off ticked. The mesh then goes back to the Off value, so the avatar rests in the scene the way it loads in VRChat.

  8. Press Add.

You should now see Made the toggle "Smile". Undo takes it back. under the button, and the new toggle in the AvatarDoc inspector. The window switches to Add to with the new toggle picked, so a second press only updates it.

Everything Add does undoes in one step: the new entry or row, the value put back, and Poiyomi's mark. The window never changes what is selected in the Hierarchy.

Open the window from the material's header menu, as in step 3: Unity draws that header above Poiyomi's own inspector too. When the property is not marked as animated yet, the window shows Mark as animated for Poiyomi's lock, ticked. Add then marks it Animated (when locked), so the change still works after Poiyomi locks the material at upload. A property marked Renamed (when locked) keeps its mark, and the window shows the name Poiyomi animates it under once locked. More about the marks: Change a colour or glow.

  • In the new entry's panel, press On and Off in the Scene preview row (Advanced mode). The Scene view shows the shape or the material change. Press Default to stop the preview.
  • In Play mode with Gesture Manager, press the control in the menu, as in Your first toggle.
